About Me

I was born in the city of Sarajevo, which was part of Yugoslavia, but is now the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the 1990s, my mother and I immigrated to the United States as refugees seeking a better life. Upon arrival in the country, we established our home in Atlanta, Georgia where I was able to complete my primary and secondary education. Subsequently, I enrolled at the University of Georgia to pursue higher education and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2007.

Despite the challenges of balancing work and school, I was driven to continue my education. While working full-time in Atlanta, I made the decision to go back to school to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia’s Atlanta campus. This required a significant amount of effort and dedication, but I persevered and succeeded in graduating in 2013.

After obtaining my advanced degree, my life took a new turn when I got married. We made the decision to move to the San Francisco Bay Area to start a new chapter in our lives. This move brought new opportunities and experiences, and I was eager to embrace them. Since then, I have worked in a number of startup companies implementing security programs.
